"And the Spirit said to Philip, ‘Go over and join this chariot...’" Acts 8:29

Hey everyone,

While we settle in as a new congregation in Beaverton we are excited continue seeking God's presence and the unveiling of His kingdom through us. While we work our way through the Book of Acts we consistently see that the Holy Spirit is the Missionary - we, the church, are witnesses.  This means, as we will see this week, that we embrace a life ready to hear and obey; following the example of Philip who joined in the work God was already doing.

One of the works of the Spirit is to unite us together as the body of Christ.  We've got some great opportunities to connect and build relationship over the next month.  Here are some things to look for:

Serving on Sundays is a great way to begin to know others and participate as a part of the body of Christ.  If you are able to help our team set up for our gathering, help with hospitality or serve our kids there are plenty of ways to be a part of the family in practical ways.  Let us know you are interested by following the link here.

Stay tuned as we are working with local schools to serve those who will be experiencing significant need this holiday season.  More details to come in the next couple of weeks.

We are kicking off a monthly gathering for young adults (20-30 somethings) that will be at the Craft Pour House on Walker road beginning tomorrow night (Nov 8) at 7pm. David and Elise Webb will host. Food is available from nearby restaurants, minors allowed, stay as long as you'd like!

We will join with other churches on the west side to seek God's kingdom in prayer together, contending for our city and worshiping in unity.  We'll meet at Beaverton Foursquare, November 16 from 7-9pm.  Hope to see you there!

Join us on December 1st at Market of Choice from 10-11:30am as we gather together as the women of Colossae Beaverton. It will be a time to connect, meet new faces and hear how Jesus is working. More details to follow.

Glad to be a part of God's kingdom story alongside each of you.
